Chris Knopf is a Partner/Member of Pinnacle Properties of Louisville, LLC, a regional development and commercial & residential builder.
Chris has been a member of the local, state and National Building Industry Association since 1976.He is a second generation builder; Chris’s father, Clifford, founded Town and Country Homes and together Chris and his father have built nearly 5,000 homes in the Louisville Metro area since its inception in 1945. Chris assumed responsibility for Town and Country Homes in 1975 and built over 1,200 homes in several high end communities between 1975 and 1995, such as Owl Creek, Lake Forest, Copperfield and Willow Wood (to name a few). Chris served on the Board of Directors for the Local Home Builders Association for over ten years and was President of the HOW Warranty program, sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Kentucky. Chris also served the local BIA as its Chair of the Registered Builder committee for three years.
In addition to Chris’s BIA duties, he is managing broker for Pinnacle Properties and Town and Country Real Estate, overseeing the operations of both companies. Chris is active in both, the St Xavier and Xavier University alumni associations and has been a member of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors for 40+ years. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Karen; his two daughters, and five grandchildren.
